Terms of Service.
Lessons and eligibility
- You must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence before taking lessons on public roads, and bring it to your first lesson.
- You must be able to read a number plate from 20 metres and meet the legal eyesight standard for driving.
- Lessons are subject to instructor availability and are arranged directly with Kev.
Payments
- Lesson prices are as published on our prices page and may change from time to time; you will always be told the price before booking.
- Block bookings are paid in advance and are non-transferable to other learners.
- Payment is due as agreed with Kev at the time of booking.
Cancellations
- If you need to cancel or rearrange a lesson, please give as much notice as possible — ideally at least 48 hours.
- Lessons cancelled at short notice or missed without notice may be chargeable.
- If Kev needs to cancel a lesson (for example due to illness, vehicle issues or unsafe weather), it will be rearranged at no cost to you.
Driving tests
- Use of the school car for a driving test must be agreed in advance and is subject to Kev being satisfied you are ready for test.
- Test fees are paid by you directly to the DVSA. We are not responsible for DVSA cancellations or test centre availability.
Conduct and safety
- You must not attend a lesson under the influence of alcohol or drugs, including medication that impairs driving. Kev may end a lesson immediately if it is unsafe to continue, and the lesson will be chargeable.
- The tuition vehicle is fitted with dual controls and is fully insured for tuition.
Instructor training
Terms for ADI/PDI instructor training courses, including payment plans, are agreed individually before the course begins. Contact Kev for details.
